The work depicts a Venetian lagoon landscape with fishermen gathering their catch along the shallow waters in the foreground, whilst on the right there is a boat with figures on board The work is set in a contemporary gilded frame with carved corners and features anti-reflective / museum-grade glass.
It has a newly made passe-partout.
The condition of the work is very good; it has undergone a superficial cleaning.
The signature “A. Prosdocimi F.” is present and visible in the lower left-hand corner.
