Beautiful pair of large Japanese vases from the second half of the 19th century. The two vases, with their very pleasant "trumpet" shape, are characterised by their polychromy where cobalt blue, red and orange are the prevalent shades but where the gold and pink of the cherry tree in bloom also stand out.
