Elegant 19th-century French side table, attributable to the workshop of cabinetmaker François Linke, crafted in finely inlaid walnut and enhanced with high-quality gilt bronze mounts. The piece stands out for its exceptional craftsmanship and for the beauty of its geometric marquetry, distinguished by remarkable precision and refinement.
Equipped with drop leaves that allow the tabletop to be doubled in size (from 40 to 80 cm), it rests on elegant turned legs adorned with finely chased bronze applications.
The front features an upper drawer and a door. Originating from an important Milanese residence, this is a highly prestigious piece of furniture, ideal for both classic and contemporary interiors, where it can stand out as a work of fine antique craftsmanship.
