Description: Elegant and rare pair of Venetian corner cabinets, dating from the late 17th to the early 18th century, crafted in lacquered and gilded wood. The surfaces feature their original refined painted decoration, with stylised floral motifs and gilded frames in baroque taste. The slender proportions, together with the slightly curved structure of the doors, lend lightness and verticality to the overall design.
These furnishings, intended for noble residences, combine functionality with decorative elegance, bearing witness to the sophistication of Venetian craftsmanship of the period. In good condition, with original lacquer and gilding retaining their evocative patina.
