Polytechnique School Uniform.
Ceremonial uniform of the École Polytechnique, known as "Grande tenue" (full dress uniform), now called "Grand Uniforme" (full dress uniform). It consists of a jacket, trousers, a bicorn hat, and a belt, all bearing the same serial number, 282. The bicorn hat was made by "André Berthet in Paris," measuring 56 cm. The trousers and jacket were made by the Parisian firm "Société Nationale Deniau." The uniform is in perfect condition and complete. There is a small tear on the underside of the bicorn hat, visible in photo #8.
