Composed of:
A navy blue velvet headband on which a triple Hungarian knot and a yellow thread braid are sewn.
A black turban on which the commander's yellow 4-thread braid are sewn.
A black varnished visor. A fawn-colored leather inner rim.
A distinctive badge: The hunting horn with a grenade in golden yellow thread.Attributed to the customs brigades (in 1875): The horn by similarity with the voltigeurs, the grenade as elite soldiers.
In good general condition, with traces of use.Headdress worn.Size 56 cm.
