Bracelet jonc ouvrant in 18k yellow gold, hinged, the front part of which is centered with a line of thirteen falling cultured pearls - from the largest to the smallest diameter. They are flanked on either side by a double row of rose-cut diamonds set in a closed setting. The band itself is worked in three openwork fillets running around the entire circumference, visually lightening the whole and giving it a remarkable lightness.
Foreign work imported into France, circa 1900. Non-French guarantee mark: rooster's head to the right in a square. Unidentified master stamp: letter L on a serpentine surmounted by a pyramid.

Condition:
Very good overall condition for a piece of this age.
The pearls are well-rounded, regular, pearly-white orient and sustained luster - qualities that distinguish them from common cultured pearls and which the presence of the rose-cut diamonds further accentuates by luminous contrast.
Please note: a slight trace of oxidation is visible at one end of the pearl-holding rod, but this has no effect on the solidity of the mounting or on the aesthetics of the jewel worn - a sign of age rather than a defect.
The articulation system works perfectly: the push-button opening makes it easy to put on the wrist, and the bead naturally follows the shape of the arm. The openwork design of the bracelet body limits the perceived weight, despite the 24.8 g of the whole.
