In the form of a statue plinth, this gilded wooden reliquary, glazed on one sidehouses an insignificant relic from the Roman catacombs, the martyredSaint Généreux, martyr.Its skull rests on a parterre of cannetilles forming floral motifs,pearls and glassware.
On the back are two episcopal wax seals condemning access to the relic. South German work.
Dimensions: 50 cm x 30 cm deep x 24 cm high.
