Parisian Empire clock, circa 1810, in fire-gilt bronze. Finely chased oval base resting on four half-height ball feet. Original white dial with Roman numerals and Breguet hands. Blue enamelled ring around the bezel, adorned with a fine openwork band below an eagle. Medusa head clock suspended by a thread. Eight-day movement. Original mechanism. Original condition. Traces of wear where the enamel has not been redecorated. Finely chased base - a particularly beautiful and delicate example.
