Pair Of Deco Vases In The Style Of Paul Milet
Artist: Paul Milet
Pair of Deco vases in the style of Paul Milet
Refined glazed Sevres ceramic vases, Art Deco.
The base is in black lacquered metal and steel with geometric shapes typical of Art Deco.
The vases have a flambé enamel in a beautiful dark green color which turns towards blue towards the edge.
This glazing technique was typical of the ceramist Paul Milet who produced many Art Deco style vases.
Highly decorative, they are ideal for inclusion in any context.
Paul Milet descended from a family of ceramists from Sevres and began working in his father's workshop in 1894 and created a production of ceramics in step with the fashions of the time, ranging from Art Nouveau to Art Deco.
Unfortunately the vases are not marked, probably due to lack of space at the base.
They are in a good state of conservation, unfortunately one of the two has a slight central chip which is very small in size and which does not affect its beauty.
The defect is visible in the photos and the price takes it into account.
