This watch is all about the brand's identity:

• its name, Vendôme, refers to the famous Place Vendôme, the emblematic jewelry venue where Cartier has its historic boutique,

• its case, made up of three gadroons, in yellow, rose and white golds, refer to the famous Trinity line, whose combination of these three colors is its signature,

• fine and elegant, it is as much a jewel as a watch, which, of course, harkens back to Cartier's dynasty as a renowned jeweler

This watch, created in the 1970s, corresponds in its fluid lines to the style of the time, and once again reveals the brand's innovative, avant-garde character, which thus breaks with its visual codes, then more based on straight, structured lines, as on the Tank or Santos.
