Louis XIII High Armchair, Walnut Armchair, Chapelet Grain, 17th Century

Very handsome Louis XIII period solid walnut armchair.
Resting on two front legs turned into chapelet and two square-section rear legs.
The whole is connected by an H-shaped crotch composed of two straight bars and a central one turned into chapelet as well as a high front crosspiece also turned into chapelet.
The armrests and armrest supports are also turned in chapelet.
Small, flat, rectangular backrest.
The upholstery on our armchair has been completely redone, the seat is firm.
The upholstery fabric is also new and has a studded finish.

Note that some repairs have been carried out on this chair:
The center crotch bar has been glued, as has the junction between the right armrest and the backrest.
The left crotch bar has been replaced, and there are a few grafts on the rear legs, but our chair remains stable and solid.
We would like to remind you that this chair is from the Louis XIII period ( first half of the XVIIth century), so we accept some repairs !!!!!!!! ................
