Prussian Blücher Sword Model 1811
Prussian light cavalry sword model Blücher 1811. Very similar to the British light cavalry sword model 1796. Single-groove curved steel blade, measuring approx. 82.5 cm. The hilt is covered with original black leather and the steel guard bears equipment markings. Supplied with its steel scabbard, featuring the long rear clip and two characteristic suspension rings. Numerous equipment and re-equipment markings are visible near the entrance to the scabbard. A fine example, with some surface rust, but overall in very good condition.
