Very large painting depicting hills at daybreak, with figures and sheep by Georges Gall, a Swiss-born artist specializing in landscapes around Aix-en-Provence, second half of the 19th century.

The painting has its original wood and gilded stucco frame (to be restored).A numbered piece of paper is glued to the frame,the painting was probably purchased at an exhibition.
