Pewter Casket for Holy Oils - 17th Century. Incomplete casket, missing the bottles/ampoules. Molded lid and upper part of its base. Holds the 3 bottles. Hallmark of Etienne Petitot in 1693 in Flavigny-sur-Ozerain (Côte-d'Or). Casket shows signs of wear (pewter scab). Length 12 cm, width 6.5 cm, height 10 cm.
