Nest in a Thicket, oil on panel, signed by Auguste Glaize. Auguste-Barthélemy Glaize (1807-1893) was a student of Deveria (Father & Son). He participated in the Salon of 1836, then in all the Salons from 1838 to 1880. This panel is signed lower right and also on the reverse in pencil on the wood, with an old label. The frame is original and in its current condition. His works are in numerous monuments and museums, particularly in France. Panel dimensions: 40.5 x 27 cm
