Jacquot and Jacqueline earthenware figures in excellent condition. From the "La Villa Du Rond" pottery factory in Bonnétable, Sarthe. Two rare pieces in this condition. The pottery factory began in 1832 and closed in 1912; the Duchess of Montmorency was its driving force. Claude Brossier, from Sarthe, published an excellent book after five years of research on this extraordinary pottery factory and its high-quality products. The pitchers offered here are featured at the beginning of this book: "La Faïencerie retrouvée" (The Rediscovered Pottery Factory).
