Artist: Knud Janson
The avant-garde interior of an artist's room was executed in the post-Pointillist style by the renowned Swedish painter and graphic artist Knud Janson (1882 Valentuna – 1966 Stockholm) and dated 1947. The artist studied at the Art Union School of Art in Stockholm from 1905 to 1909, and from 1911 to 1925 traveled and lived in France. His works are represented in the National Museum in Stockholm. Exhibited at the Artists' Union exhibition in Stockholm in 1935.
