A superb and elegant late 19th-century rosewood tea table. It rests on four cabriole legs, decorated at the top with acanthus leaves. Above this is the first, shaped top with a cabaret molding. Four baluster-shaped finials support this top, which in turn supports the upper top, also shaped with a cabaret molding around its edge. A high-quality piece in perfect condition; the wood is magnificent and the proportions ideal.
