Ink Drawing With Added Highlights
Today we present this original drawing, created with India ink and slightly enhanced, superbly framed. Unfortunately, it is not by Picasso; it is by a painter from Saint-Étienne, Jean Alexis Bobichon, born in 1911 and died in 1985, whose name is noted on the back. His specialty was painting on glass in reverse. I have owned several of his works, and this is the first drawing I have ever owned. It is marked on the back "friend of the painter Voulonzan," born in 1944 and who died in 2020 from COVID-19. I own one of his works; he died at the age of 66. Weight: 1.3 kg. Shipping extra (E26).
