Louis XVI Period Walnut Dressing Table/Valley. Charming Louis XVI period walnut dressing table, resting on four tapered legs with simulated fluting, characteristic of the style. The top opens in three sections revealing: a central retractable mirror, two side storage compartments, and a divided interior (ideal for toiletries or sewing supplies). The front is richly decorated with moldings, rosettes, and carved motifs (garlands and foliage), with bronze keyhole escutcheons and knobs. It opens with three drawers in the frieze, including a larger central drawer. A fine piece from the late 18th century, with a beautiful original patina.
