Magnificent 14-piece asparagus service in Saint Amand and Hamage barbotine ware, early 20th century. It comprises 12 plates, a platter, and a covered sauce boat with an attached tray. The color is a beautiful emerald green. The plates feature a concave rim to collect the sauce, the covered sauce boat keeps the sauce warm, and the platter has a central reservoir to collect any remaining cooking liquid. Dimensions: Platter: 36 cm x 21 cm. Sauce boat: approximately 27 cm x 14 cm. Plates: Diameter: 27 cm. The set is in excellent condition overall, with a few minor chips to the glaze on 2 or 3 plates.
