Sarreguemines Glazed Stoneware Tea Set, Art Nouveau Period, 23 Pieces.

Rare tea set in glazed stoneware from Sarreguemines, Art Nouveau period, 23 pieces. Khaki in color, the upper part decorated with golden clovers polished with agate and a frieze characteristic of the Art Nouveau style. It consists of 10 cups and 10 saucers, 1 teapot, 1 sugar bowl and 1 milk jug. Cup: height: 5 cm. diameter at the rim: 7 cm; Saucers: diameter: 14 cm. Teapot: height: 14 cm. Sugar bowl: height: 10 cm. Milk jug: height: 9 cm. Good condition. Note: 1 chip on the rim of a cup (see photo) and on the spout of the milk jug. A coffee pot and a dessert set of the same model are for sale in other ads. A rare, very elegant set. The mixture of ceramic and this gilding is quite astonishing!!!
