Pretty Milk Jug, Chinese Porcelain, East India Company, Grisaille, Love & Fidelity Decor, 18th

A very pretty little covered milk jug. Made of white porcelain with a slightly bluish tint, it is decorated in grisaille with a scene of love and fidelity, depicted by a pair of birds in a verdant setting. Enhanced with gold.. The top of the jug is adorned with a stylized fishnet border.
Excellent condition, no chips or break, just a few minor spots in the clay from the firing process.
Chinese working, exported by the East India Company, Qianlong period, 18th century.
Dimensions: 14cm H x 10cm with handle. Base diameter 4.5cm.
