A relief reproduction of a very famous engraving (circa 1770) by Jean Michel Moreau (1741-1814), whose 18th-century staging and costumes the modeller faithfully reproduced. Beneath a Polish-style bed surmounted by sumptuous feathers, the young woman is attended by her parents and a friend as she prepares for bed. Circa 1880-1910.
