Copper basin with riveted copper handles. Used condition with dents. From an old castle in southern Sarthe. Folk art. Beautiful patina. Weighs nearly 2 kg. The 18th century was the golden age of French copper (thick metal, hand-hammered rivets). Maximum width 36 cm. Diameter 35 cm. Height without handle 12 cm, with handle 20 cm.
