Set Of 4 Chairs From The Napoleon III Period, Regency Style
A set of Napoleon III period chairs in the Regency style, crafted from finely carved natural wood with gilt highlights. The elegant structure rests on cabriole legs, and the backs are richly carved. The set is in excellent condition, sound and perfectly stable, displaying a beautiful original patina. Upholstered in original antique tapestry in the Aubusson style, featuring a landscape design. This is a genuine decorative tapestry. Condition: The tapestry shows signs of use and wear, with some weakened areas and small losses, consistent with its age. It remains, however, well-attached and retains a good overall appearance. It can be left as is to preserve its authenticity, or restored according to preference. A rare set with its original tapestry preserved. Dimensions: 55 x 45 x 92 cm.
