Chair, model 91, presented in 1991 to celebrate the 700th anniversary of the Swiss Confederation, this lightweight chair, made of anthracite gray epoxy-coated metal and gray striped fabric, was produced by the Italian furniture manufacturer Alias in a limited edition of only 700 pieces; each model is signed and numbered (the original label is present under the seat). A lithograph signed and numbered by Mario Botta accompanies each chair and is included in the price. This makes it a collector's item; in addition to its comfort and aesthetics, it features a minimalist, highly graphic design typical of the work of the renowned architect and designer.
