Paolo de Poli (1905-1996) was an Italian artist, enameller, painter, and designer who won several awards at the Brussels World's Fair in 1935 and at the four Milan Triennales between 1936 and 1951.
He became interested in the technique of enameling on metal in the early 1930s and notably collaborated with Gio Ponti from the 1940s onward.
Beautiful geometric decoration on copper-colored enamel, with blue enamel inside the vase.
