Magnificent large Louis XV Rocaille style mirror, richly decorated and entirely lacquered and gilded, ideal as a fireplace mirror or decorative wall mirror. The frame features highly ornate carved work, typical of the Louis XV style, with scrolls, acanthus leaves, and floral motifs. The upper part is crowned with a prominent central Rocaille decoration, while the base is also richly carved. Its imposing dimensions and elegance make it a remarkable decorative piece for a living room, entryway, or above a fireplace. The glass has a peripheral bevel, adding refinement and depth to the whole.
