Large Antique Jumeau Doll – Porcelain Head Marked “TÊTE JUMEAU” No. 12 – Circa 1900 – Original Dress. A very beautiful antique French Jumeau doll, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1900), with a porcelain head marked in relief with the number 12 and a red stamp “TÊTE JUMEAU Bté SGDG”, mounted on a jointed Jumeau body stamped with a blue stamp “JUMEAU médaille d'or”. The doll has beautiful fixed brown glass eyes, a closed mouth, pierced ears, and an original dark brown natural hair wig. She wears her antique white dress with lace, undergarments, panties, and knee-high stockings, as well as her antique shoes. A large, highly sought-after model, typical of Jumeau production from the late 19th century.
