19th Century Glazed Earthenware Hare Terrine
Beautiful 19th-century terrine, also known as a hare's nest, made of brown glazed earthenware. The lid features a relief decoration of a crouching hare. The rim is richly ornamented with hunting scenes. This handcrafted piece offers a lovely variety of shapes and a candle-glazed finish. There are minor firing flaws and some glaze loss on the front (see photo). Overall, it is in very good condition. It measures 9.5 cm high without the lid and approximately 16 cm with it.
