Pair Of Porcelain Vases From Vieux Paris – 19th Century
Artist: Vieux Paris
An elegant pair of Vieux Paris porcelain vases, richly decorated and dating from the 19th century (Chapter X period), of remarkable decorative quality. The vases have a beautiful baluster shape resting on a square foot, entirely decorated with fine polychrome painting depicting birds, fruit, flowers, and birds' nests in cartouches against a deep blue background. The whole is enhanced with gilding, applied with finesse to the motifs, frames, and ornaments, which underscores the richness and elegance of these pieces. The side handles are adorned with lion heads in relief, while the central section is decorated with red and green cabochons framed by gilt mounts. The flared neck is surmounted by an openwork gilt gallery, adding a highly decorative character to the whole. Dimensions: Height: 35 cm Width: 17 cm Shipping: €30
