- Pair of Bayeux porcelain baluster-shaped vases with rich polychrome decoration, an oval medallion, and a rectangular label.
- Animated scenes of Asian women, men, and children in traditional dress with furniture and everyday objects
with a butterfly and insect inserted into oval medallions on a white background.
- Borders around the oval medallions of both vases are enhanced with gold and set against a cobalt blue background.
- Rectangular labels on the sides of the two vases located below the two handles of the vases are enhanced with a gold border
decorated with flowering branches and fluttering butterflies on a white background.
- The oval medallions and rectangular labels of both vases are set against a cobalt blue background typical of the Bayeux porcelain factory. - The handles of the two vases are Japanese-style, enhanced and gilded, and the insides of the handles are Egyptian red.
- Rich interlacing decoration in Egyptian red, gold, and white, mixed with large pastel yellow and purple leaves, all enhanced with gold on a cobalt blue background.
- The swollen neck of the vase, set against a white background, is decorated with Egyptian red branches bordered by gold and Egyptian red edging.
- The base of the vase features Egyptian red, cobalt blue, white, and gold edging.
- The number 4 with the letter L or the number 7? under the base of the vases, hollowed out in the underglaze porcelain paste.
