A superb Khorjin Qashqai originating from Persia. Khorjin are carrying bags, most often double-sided. This one is a fragment, the woven side knotted wool-on-wool. Of course, on this model, it's the earthy hues that immediately captivate. These shades of indigo blue are quite rare in such proportions. I've identified three different shades of blue. This aspect is remarkable considering this shade is the most complex to obtain and also the most expensive. On the upper part, the woven slotted closure system is still visible. The quality of the hand-spun wool is remarkable; it is very soft to the touch and, at the same time, allows the colors to express themselves in all their luminosity.
