Elegant gondola armchair in solid mahogany, inspired by Empire designs, dating from the 20th century.
It is distinguished by its swan-neck sculpted armrests, resting on curved uprights ending in scrolls.
The enveloping back and seat are upholstered in studded tan leather, providing both comfort and elegance. The armchair rests on four cabriole legs at the front and saber legs at the back, typical of Empire-style seating.
A fine piece from the 20th century, in very good condition with a lovely mahogany patina. A few minor cuts in the leather.
