Superb parade officer's sword (circa 1960) in exceptional condition. The nickel-plated metal hilt features a magnificent, finely chiseled lion's head pommel. The black grip is intact with its double silver wire wrapping. The mirror-polished steel blade, with a fuller, is richly acid-etched with scrolling foliage and the motto "JUSTICE PEACE WORK". The sword is in remarkable, near-mint condition, with no oxidation. Sold complete with its nickel-plated steel scabbard. Overall length: 92 cm. Blade length: 80 cm.
