In a nice modern frame : 40 x 52 cm (small areas of gilding missing, particularly in the upper left corner)
This view of a citadel or fortified village, probably in Italy, is full of mystery. It is from a very good hand, not yet identified, the mastery of the pen and ink reveals in any case a real artistic personality.
