Curtain-top Filing Cabinet
A 1930s gilt oak roll-top cabinet with a single curtain. This is a very high-quality piece with meticulous finishing, notably the exposed brass side runners and the brass handle, also bearing the initials ED. Originally designed for office use, it can be repurposed for storing linens or shoes. It is in good condition, with the curtain sliding smoothly and retaining its original, attractive spade-shaped key. It features 10 removable shelves. Note two small, insignificant holes on the top (see photo) and a repaired crack on the right side.
