Solid oak cash register counter, used at the London Stock Exchange around 1920. The upper section separates the trader from the customer with a black metal screen featuring a rounded opening. This piece of professional furniture has a worktop with some wear to the patina, beneath which is a large drawer and ample legroom when seated.
