Refined, finely carved solid walnut base of a good height. The base features a square base and two everted legs, ending in animal paws and joined in the center by a crosspiece. The refined carvings, featuring geometric, phytomorphic, and figurative motifs, lend further elegance to the overall effect, reminiscent of the Renaissance. This base can be used as a sculpture or bust holder, adding a touch of class and antiquity to any space. Tuscan manufacture, in the neo-Renaissance style, from the second half of the 19th century.
