Tripod Tubular Floor Lamp – Handcrafted, 1970s
A spectacular tubular floor lamp dating from the 1970s, remarkable for the exceptional quality of its craftsmanship. The slender cylindrical stem is entirely covered with a decoration composed of thousands of tiny beads meticulously strung horizontally on copper wires. Every 21 beads, the copper wire is connected to vertical copper rods of a larger diameter, which in turn connect to horizontal rings with a chrome finish. The resulting uniformity creates a subtle interplay of texture and transparency. When lit, the lamp diffuses a warm, diffused light, enhanced by the chrome reflections and the delicate shimmer of the beads. The structure rests on a tripod base. The entire piece testifies to a monumental undertaking, requiring patience and precision, characteristic of exquisitely crafted artisanal production. At the crossroads of design and decorative art, this floor lamp perfectly embodies the aesthetics of the 1970s: sophisticated materials, a taste for lighting effects, and a quest for originality. A striking sculptural piece, ideal for enhancing a contemporary or classic interior. Dimensions: Height: 170.5 cm Diameter: 25 cm Depending on the distance, I may be able to deliver.
