A very beautiful iridescent glass vase, attributed to Loetz in Bohemia. This magnificent work, with its subtle shades of blue and violet and pearly reflections that shift with the light, is characteristic of this glassworks' production during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, under the influence of the Art Nouveau movement. this vase is presented on a brass base, fitted with a chiseled bronze frame forming two handles and ending in a ring to secure the glass. The vase is unsigned, as is the case for most. Dimensions: total height 34.5 cm, glass height 29.5 cm, base diameter 10 cm, neck diameter (glass only) 3.5 cm, neck width (including bronze ring) 8 cm, width at the two handles 15.5 cm.
