Important 18th-Century Walnut Buffet with Four Doors and Two Drawers - Richly Carved Decoration. This exceptional two-part buffet, dating from the 18th century and crafted from solid walnut, displays remarkable carving quality and imposing architectural proportions. The upper section features two large, molded, and richly carved doors adorned with ribboned baskets and vases of flowers, framed by vegetal motifs and scrolling cartouches. The uprights are highlighted with finely worked, repetitive decoration. The projecting cornice emphasizes the strength of the upper line. The panels exhibit high-relief work typical of regional 18th-century production.
