Biscuit Porcelain Group After Saxony – Gallant Scene, 19th Century – H. 25 Cm
Biscuit porcelain group after Saxony – 19th-century gallant scene – H. 25 cm. Charming biscuit porcelain group depicting a gallant scene inspired by the 18th century. The composition features an elegantly dressed young man, holding a lyre, facing a young woman seated on an openwork chair. The details are finely modeled: folds of clothing, lace, curly hairstyles, flowers on the ground, and decorative elements of the furniture. The piece rests on a sculpted base decorated in green and richly embellished with gilt friezes. A few touches of gilding highlight certain details (flowers, base).
