Unsigned painting by Pierre Tilot. On the back is a document from the General Bank exhibition. Pierre Tilot was born in Jambes in 1925. He is a painter and draftsman. His compositions, populated with figures, exude surrealism, humor, nostalgia, and mystery. They are imbued with the atmosphere found in the works of Paul Devaux. His work has been exhibited at the headquarters of the National Bank of Paris in Brussels, as well as in several municipal exhibition halls. In Blankenberge in 1997, at the Liège Congress Palace in 1998 (Les Peintres de Proust), and at the Uccle Cultural Center in 1999. In 2000, he exhibited at the Schaerbeek Arts Center, which added an oil on canvas, titled "Angular Figure, Merchant of Cosines," to the collection of the Brussels City Museum.
