Sculpture - Accumulation - Gsm - Arman - France - 20th Century
Artist: Arman (1928/2005)
Arman (1928–2005) Accumulation – GSM Numbered 28/30, signed. A work in transparent resin containing an accumulation of mobile phones (GSM), arranged vertically and frozen in the material. The whole rests on a black base. This piece perfectly illustrates Arman's work, famous for his "accumulations," in which he assembles and repeats everyday objects. Here, the mobile phone becomes a symbol of our modern society and technological evolution. The transparency of the resin highlights the shapes, circuits, and internal details of the devices, creating a strong and contemporary visual effect. This is a limited edition of 30 copies in Roman numerals, dating from the 2000s corresponding to the first printings, rarer and more sought after than the larger editions of 100 (in Arabic numerals)Number 28/30. Signed. Very good condition. Dimensions: 45 x 15 x 59 cm
