Large patinated bronze sculpture signed by Alfredo Biagini (1886-1952) on a marble base, depicting a walking lioness, Art Deco period. Born in Rome in 1886 into a family of goldsmiths. In 1905, he attended architecture and sculpture classes, then anatomy classes in Paris from 1909. For many years, he devoted himself to sculpting animals, particularly cats and baboons.
