He cast for his sculptor friends, his foundry was located in Antwerp. The sculptor Frans Jochems, an Antwerp sculptor, was active at the Antwerp Zoo. He sculpted from life. He executed various monuments. He was among the Antwerp artists around Rembrandt Bugatti during his stay in Antwerp.
