Louis XV Style Wardrobe In Solid Cherry Wood, Cremone Bolt Lock, 18th Century

A substantial and elegant 18th-century wardrobe in solid cherry wood, opening with two richly molded and shaped doors.
The front features a typical line of the regional Louis XV style, with a gently undulating lower rail.
The central stile is adorned with an elegant chevron marquetry inlay, adding depth and refinement to the piece. The lower rail is decorated with a basket of flowers carved in wood.
It retains its original, functional wrought-iron cremone bolt lock, as well as its long, finely cut brass keyhole escutcheons.
Original lock and key. The cherry wood boasts a beautiful, warm patina with deep hues and a natural decorative grain.
The elegantly curved pediment is highlighted by discreet marquetry. Straight uprights rest on slightly cabriole feet.
Two interior shelves (with the possibility of adding a third shelf or hanging space). Height-adjustable shelves.
